So, so true! This resonates deeply with me. Though it may sound narcissistic, I think that everyone needs to have a sense of belonging in some corner, however small, of this maddening world. This experience can only be felt when we sense that there is someone who "thinks & feels with us" and who "is close to us in spirit."
