Well said. Whether a piece of art is abstract, representational, or somewhere in between, it is always an expression of something seen or experienced by the artist "not in some far-off place," but in the peregrinations through everyday life.
I've read all the previous posts from 9-21 on down to here …. You have so many poets at your disposal - I wonder, are these all from books you own? Sigh. How wonderful if so. I also must say I just adore your photography and that cherub grandson :) (My "baby" just turned 6 the other day).
