Art is not in some far-off place.

— Lydia Davis

  1. Well said. Whether a piece of art is abstract, representational, or somewhere in between, it is always an expression of something seen or experienced by the artist "not in some far-off place," but in the peregrinations through everyday life.

  2. So true. So true!

(And once I get back home, I'm gonna catch up on you here!!!)

  3. I've read all the previous posts from 9-21 on down to here …. You have so many poets at your disposal - I wonder, are these all from books you own? Sigh. How wonderful if so. I also must say I just adore your photography and that cherub grandson :) (My "baby" just turned 6 the other day).

Welcome. If you would like to say something, rest assured that I will respond in my self, even if I do not respond in word.
